Imagery and maps have limits
- Satellite, aerial and street-level imagery is captured on a particular day and can be months or years old. What you see may no longer be there.
- Online maps aren't surveys. Don't rely on them for property lines, legal boundaries or construction decisions; use an official survey or public record.
- Don't rely on an online map alone for navigation where a wrong turn is dangerous, such as backcountry travel, water, or closed roads.
- Map providers change their features, coverage and prices. Details on this site were accurate when written and may have changed since.
